Dr. MR Rajagopal, Founder & Chairman, Pallium India, and Director of Trivandrum Institute of Palliative Sciences, is a leading authority on palliative care. He conducted a two-day certificate course in palliative care for nurses, at our late Dr. Shalini Bhouraskar Cancer Detection Center on 21st and 22nd June 2012.

Mr. Jaikishan, also from the Trivandrum Institute of Palliative Sciences, took the sessions on lymphadema and colostomy care.

The programme was attended by 72 participants (nurses from a few district hospitals and student nurses from a city college of nurses).

The certificates were distributed by Shri Arshad Rashid, Permanent Trustee of the Foundation.
