A CME Programme on Communication Skills for nursing students was held on 24/01/2016 at the Indian Institute of Head and Neck Oncology with Dr. Nagesh Simha as the Expert Faculty. After 27 years of practice as a general surgeon, Dr. Simha, a trained counselor, now devotes his entire time to Palliative Care as Medical Director, Karunashraya, Bengaluru.

Dr. Simha trained the participants on how to communicate with patients and their attendants. 107 participants attended the CME of which 37 were from the Choithram Nursing College, 39 from the RD Gardi Nursing College, 14 from the Govt. Medical College and the rest were from Mayur Hospital, Bombay Hospital and in-house Staff.
